PingPengPerformances is a performance quartet based between Berlin and the Rhine-Main region with Silvia Sauer, Birgit Wieger, Sanja Star & Ulrike Schwarz. All four artists are specialists in free improvisation, whether with sound, movement, or new media. Using a ping-pong approach, they develop their performances based on a material or object. Their working process is characterized by a willingness to take risks, combined with tried-and-tested modules and an openness to the moment.
